About Tectarix
The name Tectarix combines two ideas: "Tec" echoes technology and architecture -- the foundation your apps run on. The ending "-tarix" echoes words like Matrix or Helix -- a nod to structure, precision and reliability. Together, the name stands for a platform that combines self-hostable apps with the reliability of solid technical infrastructure.
Security comes first
Security plays a major role for us. That's why we only ever publish an appTLS-secured -- no instance goes online without a valid certificate. On top of that come isolated instances per customer, automatic backups and updates, without you having to take care of any of it yourself.
Protected setup
Many apps demand admin access the moment they first start -- a popular window for strangers to claim the app before you do. That's why your app isn't reachable at any address right after it's provisioned. Only once you activate it yourself does it go live -- giving you the chance to set up your own admin account before anyone else can.
The right settings, right at booking
If an app needs its own API key, SMTP access or similar startup parameters, we ask for exactly that directly in the booking form -- instead of sending you to dig through the docs afterward.
Our own infrastructure in Germany
The hosting platform runs on physical hardware we own and operate ourselves -- no third-party cloud hosting, located in Germany.
